The Tanimura & Antle Family Memorial Library serves the students, staff, faculty and alumni of Cal State Monterey Bay, as well as visiting scholars and residents of the surrounding communities. With its stunning architecture, state-of-the-art technology and collections, it is one of the premier library facilities in the Central Coast region.
Designed by EHDD Architecture of San Francisco and funded by both public and private resources, the $69 million library opened in December 2008. It marks a major milestone in the transition from the former Fort Ord Army base since the university's founding in 1994.
"The Tanimura & Antle Family Memorial Library supports the engaged learning that is at the core of CSU Monterey Bay's mission and reflects our fundamental commitment to student success."
